Cartooning Workshop with Andrea Beizer via Zoom
Are you interested in creating your own cartoon strip? Andrea Beizer, creator of “Alice©” will guide you through the process in this fun and informative workshop. Learn to create your own characters and develop a story with helpful feedback. Cartoon history, important technical information, and freehand versus computer drawing will also be covered. Getting your creations out into the world via syndication and the internet will be discussed. Be sure to see Andrea’s solo exhibition, on view at Cerulean Arts December 9 – January 10.

Andrea Beizer is an artist, architect, cartoonist and college professor. She is the creator of the cartoon strip Alice©, a character with a sharp wit trying to make it in a complex modern society as she questions everything around her, including herself. She has taught visual art, design and architecture at the Community College of Philadelphia, Moore College of Art and The Art Institute of Philadelphia. Beizer is also a member of the Cerulean Arts Collective.
