Katie Knoeringer is a member of the Cerulean Arts Collective.  She holds an MFA from Louisiana State University and is an Adjunct Professor at Moore College of Art & Design, and Adjunct Instructor at Drexel University.  Her collages originate from sketchbook drawings: maps of interiors and everyday spaces recorded quickly and intuitively, then evolve slowly and organically in a process akin to painting.  The resulting collage becomes a new interpretation, evocative of gesture and light.
