Take a dive into drawing the human figure from life in this fun and energetic workshop! Working from a live model, the emphasis will be on drawing what you see while exploring the fundamentals: structure, proportion, composition, basic anatomy, gesture, and light and shadow. Drawing techniques using vine charcoal and more will also be covered. Perfect for all levels from beginner to advanced, this workshop will offer a relaxed setting to cultivate the enjoyable Zen experience of life drawing.
Note: This workshop will utilize a nude model.

Joseph Hasenauer is a Philadelphia artist whose career began in illustration. His work has been published in entertainment, music, and gaming magazines and newspapers, both locally and nationally. He is the co-founder and creative director of OSBX, a full-service, award-winning creative studio specializing in filmmaking, photography, and print design. As a painter, Hasenauer is passionate about the human figure. He has exhibited his work in Philadelphia and New York, including Bambi Gallery, Silicon Gallery, Arch Enemy Arts, Art in the Age of Mechanical Reproduction, Silicon Gallery, the Kimmel Center, and the Stanley Center for the Arts. A new series of figure paintings will be showcased in 2022.
