Plein Air Cityscape with Larry Francis
Capture the picturesque urban landscape while working outside or “en plein air.” Instruction will focus on drawing techniques as well as gouache, an opaque watercolor paint with a high pigment content, as seen in such great masters as Winslow Homer and William Trost Richards.

Larry Francis has painted en plein air on the streets of the Philadelphia for many years. He holds a Certificate in painting from PAFA, where he was awarded the prestigious J. Henry Schiedt European Traveling Scholarship. His work is included in many public and private collections, and he has received numerous awards. He is represented by Gross McCleaf Gallery, where he has had numerous solo exhibitions.
