Sean Sauer is a member of the Cerulean Arts Collective.  He holds an MFA in painting from Indiana University and a BFA from the Art Institute of Chicago.  He is an Associate Professor of Painting, Drawing and Design at the Community College of Philadelphia.  His paintings are empirical explorations of the contemporary landscape.  Working on site, often for several months, he seeks a deeper understanding of the landscape through observation and contemplation.
