Portrait Sculpture Workshop with Colleen O'Donnell

$250.00

Join artist and educator Colleen O'Donnell for a "two-days-in-the-clay" and learn to sculpt the portrait head!  Learn how to observe heads, see their differences and similarities and how to translate this information into a three-dimensional sculpture.  Starting with basic structure, you will build a half-size head in air-dry clay.  Expressive possibilities will emerge as your skills develop.  A portrait model will be present, but students are welcome to work from their own photographs or imagination.  Instruction will be geared to all experience levels from beginners to advanced.
