Heaven and Earth
This body of work is based on two pivotal forces that support each other. Heaven- the planetary forces that awe-inspire us. Earth- Nature, the energy that keeps us grounded and present in our bodies. In Eastern mythology, it is believed that humans are intermediaries between these two forces. Because we are intermediaries, we hold both the grounded and awe-inspiring life forces within us. Can you feel them? I hope that, in viewing this body of work, you will feel that sense of balance between these two celestial bodies, Heaven and Earth, inside you, and be moved to take a walk with Nature and look up at our starry companions.
