For the past twenty-two years, I have focused on creating mixed media paintings. I start with an idea and work in an intuitive style, typically ending with a finished product that is very different from my original idea. I have a background in art therapy, and my paintings seem to represent a release of different emotions in one space.

I work with layers of paper, fabric, charcoal, oil pastel, and acrylic paints to create colorful pieces. In the past year, I have started to incorporate embroidery work into my paintings as a new challenge in creating mixed media pieces.
