Marybeth Tereszkiewicz
My life as an artist has 3 components: performance artist, visual artist, and art educator. Throughout my experiences, my pursuit has always been to improve the quality of my own life as well as the lives of individuals and communities, both locally and globally, through the power of the Arts.
In whichever avenue of expression I am working, I focus on the same three aspects: dynamic energy/movement, vibrant composition, and compelling narrative. I aim to authentically narrate the psychological, physical, and spiritual dance of life. While I usually try to capture this essence through figurative work, I am now expanding to landscapes that can serve as metaphors for the dynamic between inner and outer environments. My focus will be to create both realistic and abstract works that will depict my individual spirit ‘within and throughout’ the landscape – that will continue to exist eternally.
