Watercolor Workshop with Lou Schellenberg
Learn to paint beyond basic representation with watercolor in this one-day intensive workshop! Artist and educator Lou Schellenberg will guide you through the process of simplifying observed forms for effective painting, using the still life and/or your photographs as subject matter. Basic watercolor techniques will be explained and demonstrated. Open to all levels.

Artist Lou Schellenberg divides her year between Lancaster County, Pennsylvania and Nova Scotia, Canada. She finds inspiration painting outdoors in the landscape, combining observation and invention and creating paired down compositions of land, water, and structures in the environment. Lou studied at the School of the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston, holds an MFA from SUNY, Albany, and has taught art for over 20 years. Her work is included in private and public collections across the US and Canada. She was recently included in the Cerulean Arts exhibition Poetic Transformations.
