Carol Cole makes mixed media sculptures inspired by works of ancient and tribal artists - archetypal forms that speak a universal language. As a contemporary artist, she takes relics of our own time - found manufactured items - and combines them with handmade paper, textured paper pulp and paint. She transforms everyday objects into iconic abstract sculpture. She is a member of the Cerulean Arts Collective.
