Joseph Sweeney is a professional landscape painter living in Ardmore, PA, and member of the Cerulean Arts Collective. He received a BFA in Painting and Drawing from the Philadelphia College of Art (now the University of the Arts) and an MFA from Penn State University. He has taught for many years at area institutions and art centers including PAFA, the University of the Arts, Wayne Art Center, Woodmere Art Museum and Chester Springs Yellow Springs Studio. His work has received numerous awards and is included in many public and private institutions, collections and museums.
