Power of Color Workshop with Andie Olson
Color is powerful! Learn to use the psychological and spatial power of color in this workshop with artist and educator Andie Olson. Andie will show you how color can create depth in an artwork – both literally and figuratively, and demonstrate how color choices inform every single step of her artmaking process. She will guide you through first, creating a composition with pencil using nature-inspired stencils, tracings and collage materials, and then applying watercolor in layers with an emphasis on color to create a finished piece that successfully portrays your emotional vision.
